Supporting therapists from placement to professional practice.

Becoming a better therapist is a lifelong practice.

Sentique exists to support that practice — from your very first placement to years in private practice. Not a notes tool, and not a shortcut. A place where experience becomes understanding, and understanding becomes confidence.

Where it begins

“I need to get this down before I forget.”

Every therapist knows that moment. The session has ended, something important is still with you, and the day is already pulling you elsewhere. Sentique starts in that twenty minutes.

Speak it while it's fresh

Two minutes in the car or between clients. Sentique holds it until you are ready to think.

Or write it in your own register

A few lines, a fragment, something that stayed. No template to satisfy and no right length.

The Sentique journey

Capture → Reflect → Learn → Grow

One continuous practice, not four features. Everything in Sentique belongs to one of these four stages.

  1. 01

    Capture

The twenty minutes after a session ends

Therapists leave sessions carrying more than notes.

Thoughts, emotions, questions, half-formed observations. Something a client said that landed differently than expected. A moment you handled well and cannot quite explain why.

That is the moment therapists think: I need to get this down before I forget. It usually passes in the car, between clients, on the walk home — and by supervision it has thinned into a summary.

Sentique begins there. Speak for two minutes, or write three lines. No template to satisfy, no right length, nothing to perform.

    What it gives you

Nothing meaningful is lost between the room and the record.

    Reflect

    When experience becomes understanding

Reflection is where therapists actually develop.

Capturing is not the point. What you do with it is. Reflection turns a session you lived through into something you understand — about the client, about the work, and about yourself in it.

Sentique asks the questions a rigorous supervisor would ask, then stays quiet where your judgement belongs. It never interprets your clients and never reaches a conclusion on your behalf.

Over time your own words show you patterns you would not have noticed alone: what you avoid, where you tighten, which clients pull which part of you forward.

    What it gives you

You understand your own practice, rather than only remembering it.

    Learn

    When theory stops being abstract

Learning should not end when training does.

Theory read in isolation rarely stays. Theory met at the point of your own material does. Attachment, rupture and repair, parts work, formulation — each one lands differently when it is explaining something you actually sat with.

Sentique connects your reflections to theory, research and the reading your training or accrediting body expects, so learning becomes continuous rather than something that happened in college.

    What it gives you

Your reading and your practice inform each other instead of running in parallel.

    Grow

Across a career, not a term

Growth is the outcome — and it is visible.

Better judgement. Greater confidence. Deeper self-awareness. Stronger therapeutic relationships. These are the things therapists are really working towards, and they are usually invisible until someone asks you to evidence them.

Sentique holds the record of your development as it accumulates: what you noticed, what you learned, what you did about it, in the form your accrediting body expects.

    What it gives you

You can see that you are becoming the therapist you are striving to be.

The real outcome

Therapists are not looking for another system. They are looking for confidence.

  • Students

Confidence that you are becoming a good therapist, while you are still learning what that means.

  • Qualified therapists

Confidence that you are still developing, years after anyone was formally checking.

  • Training providers

Confidence that your students are engaging in reflective practice that is genuinely their own.

Our belief

We believe reflective practice is at the heart of good therapy.

Technology should never replace the therapeutic relationship.

It should help therapists pause, think more deeply, continue learning and grow with confidence.

  • Every insight remains yours.
  • Every formulation remains your judgement.
  • Every relationship remains uniquely human.

Sentique never interprets your clients and never shares your material with a supervisor, tutor or training provider. Anything drafted with assistance stays pending until you accept or edit it. You are always the interpreter of record.
